The Kristol Center for Jewish Life at University of Delaware is the focal point of Jewish student community on campus. With 2250 Jewish students on campus 13% of the undergraduate population -- our Hillel works hard to pave the way for students to have meaningful Jewish experiences. There are many Registered Student Organizations and initiatives affiliated with Hillel at UD, and we offer students the opportunity to travel on Alternative Break and Birthright Israel trips twice a year.

Over the last year and a half since October 7, 2023, campus Hillels have seen an unprecedented level of student involvement and community support. At Hillel at the University of Delaware, the community has grown so much that a campaign is underway to construct a building that will serve as an updated hub for Jewish life at the university.
The Hillel College Guide aims to provide you with a snapshot of each local Hillel’s makeup and offerings. We recognize that there may be more information you need in order to better understand the campus reality, particularly around issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. If you would like additional information about a given campus’ offerings or action steps in those areas, please reach out to us at [email protected].
