Philadelphia Israel Programs Scholarship Aid Fund

These scholarships are for residents of the Greater Philadelphia area, from eighth grade students to adults of all ages, who would like to participate in educational or volunteer programs. This scholarship fund helps participants deepen their Jewish knowledge and identity to prepare to contribute to American Jewish communal life.

Barbara Calick and Deborah Levy Scholarship Fund of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation

In 2005, Hilma B. Levy (obm) and Walter J. Levy established a scholarship in loving memory of their daughter, Barbara K. Calick. Recently, this fund received a generous bequest from the estate of their daughter, Deborah L. Levy, Ph.D. (obm). The scholarship has thus been renamed and is able to grant two scholarships.

Natie and Esther Maister Bursary

This was established in memory and honour of women who cherish knowledge, family values and Judaism. It is available to a woman of South African descent who shares these values. The fund is available for those applying for religious or secular academic values. An essay has to be submitted to apply for the Pera Brina.
